Blue Mountains Reiki Centre (now Lightworker Workshops) has been teaching people to heal themselves and others for the past 10 years.

We teach Reiki-Seichem incorporating Usui Reiki from Japan and Seichem, which originated in Egypt and is a high vibration healing system that works beautifully with Reiki.

Whether you want to learn how to heal yourself or a loved one, become a practitioner or go on to become a Master Teacher, Lightworker Workshops and Blue Mountains Reiki Centre can facilitate your training.

We always aim to make our classes fun as well as informative. Comprehensive manuals are included in the workshop fee and certificates are issued at then end of each workshop.

ORIGINS

REIKI (pronounced ray - key) is derived from two Japanese words "rei," meaning "Universal Spirit," and "ki." meaning "life force energy".

Reiki is over 2,500 years old and was believed to have passed onto the Tibetan Buddhist Monks before being rediscovered in Japan in the 1800's by Dr Mikao Usui while fasting and meditating on Mt Kumara, when he received a spontaneous attunement to the Reiki energies. Dr Usui taught Dr Hayashi, who in turn taught Mrs Takata, a Japanese woman living in Hawaii. It was Mrs Takata who brought Reiki to western Society.

SEICHEM (pronounced say-shim) means "the sacred might or power".
Seichem is known by many names, such as: Seichim, Saichim, Seichim, Sekhem, among others. SEICHEM is thought to have originated in Ancient Egypt and was associated with the Goddess Sekhmet.

Seichem was discovered by Patrick Zeigler while staying overnight in the Great Pyramid and obtaining an spontaneous attunement to the healing energy. Afterwards he was attuned and studied with by a Sufi Master in Khartoum. When he returned to the United States he studied Reiki with Barbara Weber Ray.

Reiki and Seichem work perfectly together and are now used widely together as a complete healing system.

METHODS

The practitioner draws upon the universal energy and lays their hands on or over the patient. The energy then flows from the practitioner's hands to the patient's body and moves the blockages that are causing the illness. There is no manipulation, massage, acupressure or any other form of manual therapy performed on the patient. One of the first things that people notice is that they find the healing very relaxing and peaceful. Clothing does not need to be removed during a treatment or attunement.

Reiki-Seichem is very easy to do, in fact, anyone, of any age can learn to channel the Reiki-Seichem energies by being attuned by a Reiki-Seichem Master.

Reiki-Seichem is transferred to students by a Reiki-Seichem Master Teacher through a series of attunements. During the attunement process, healing symbols are sealed into the student’s energy field, thereby permanently opening the student to the Reiki-Seichem energies, enabling them to heal themselves and others. A Reiki-Seichem attunement is a powerful healing in itself.

Practitioners of other healing modalities have found that being attuned to the Reiki-Seichem energies enhanced their healing modalities and added another dimension to their healing abilities.
